Official press releases or local reporting may show a photograph for a specific incident. Match any such image to its dated article and named event. News coverage is selective, so its silence does not establish that no booking occurred or that no photograph exists. Jackson State Release Photo Sources
A person transferred from Jackson County ADC to MDOC remains in state custody. In that case, a county booking photo and a state offender image may be different records created by different agencies. The public MDOC inmate-search link was misdirected during the research review, so no live official result or photo field was verified. Ask MDOC Records whether a releasable offender photograph exists rather than promising online access.
The Mississippi Sex Offender Registry is a separate limited channel. For people with qualifying registration duties, its record may include a photo, aliases, residence, conviction date, and offense. It is not a general Jackson County release archive and does not supply the ADC release date. Mississippi DPS also warns that positive identity requires fingerprint comparison.
